Walking generates Power automatically. Every 100 steps = 1 Power. Motion & Fitness supplies live steps, while Apple Health can add more complete activity from iPhone and Apple Watch.
Power → Play
Power runs Lumen’s world. Use it to care for Lumen, prepare food in the Kitchen, build and use toys from the Toy Factory, maintain and upgrade the Dome, activate boosts, and run other in-game activities.
Tank → Free Spin
Walking also fills a separate Tank. When it tops up, you earn a free spin — for bonus coins, free boosts, or extra Power. Keep walking, keep spinning.

Is TreasureSteps free?
Yes — free to download and free to play. Some cosmetics and packs are available for purchase, and Lumen Plus is an optional membership, but the whole game works without spending a cent.
What devices are supported?
TreasureSteps is available for iPhone on the App Store. Motion & Fitness provides live step updates while the app is in use. With your permission, Apple Health — accessed through HealthKit — helps provide more complete activity totals, including step count, walking/running distance, and active energy burned (calories), including supported activity recorded by a paired Apple Watch. Live map gameplay still uses your iPhone and location permission.
How does my Lumen earn coins?
Lumen passively generates coins over time — even when the app is closed. Walking separately generates Power, which you use for Lumen care, food, toys, Dome activities, map boosts, and other in-game actions. Spend coins in the Pack Shop on sticker packs or on cosmetics for your Lumen; some cosmetics also boost your coin rate.
How do sticker packs and rarity work?
Find sealed packs on the map as you walk, or buy them in the Pack Shop with coins. Each pack reveals random stickers across four rarities — ⭐ Common, ⭐⭐ Rare, ⭐⭐⭐ Super Rare and ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Legendary. For purchasable packs, the exact odds are shown in the app before you open. Duplicates can be traded for shards.
How do I take care of my Lumen?
Use the Kitchen to cook meals (Hunger), care for the Dome to support Lumen’s Health, and use the Toy Factory to build toys (Happiness). The Dome is Lumen’s home: keep it clean, comfortable, and safe; maintain the air, make repairs, stargaze together, and upgrade it as you progress. Keeping all three care areas healthy keeps your companion thriving.
How do leagues work?
Everyone starts in the 5K League. Hit your step goal 5+ days a week to promote, 3–4 to hold, fewer to demote. The 5K League is the floor — you can’t drop below it — and the 15K League is the cap. There are monthly rankings too.
What is Lumen Plus?
An optional membership with extras like zero ads, faster cooking and building, all Kitchen and Toy Factory machines unlocked, a treasure-magnet boost, and monthly streak shields. It’s billed by Apple and you can cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
